What’s happening in February?
February is a busy month for the team at Eyes on Petone.
It’s back to school (and polytech/university) month so we’re keen to help families get prepared.
It’s good to start the year with an eye test to make sure your children’s vision is going to help them learn. February is also a good time to update your glasses, whether it’s because your prescription has changed or it’s time for a new frame.
Friday 6 February is Waitangi Day. Our team is taking a break on both the Friday and Saturday, and will re-open at our usual time the next week at 9am Tuesday 10 February.
And our favourite event of the year is the Petone Rotary Fair, from 10am on Saturday 21 February.
If you’re at the fair, please enjoy the fun, and stop by Eyes on Petone at 245 Jackson Street. We’re happy to have a chat about your eye health and glasses options, and we clean glasses on the spot for free. We’ll also have a range of cool kids' sunnies and eyewear accessories for sale, and you can go in the draw to win an eye exam.
